Greetings!

Every day one can find a news story on the ravaging effects of the rapidly growing epidemic of diabetes in the U.S. and throughout the world.

It is rare that a day goes by where I don't see a news story that is misinforming the public about proper treatment for diabetes. When a "new" finding of value is reported, it is rarely something that cannot be found in Dr. Bernstein's Diabetes Solution: The Complete Guide to Achieving Normal Blood Sugars.
Recent research has told us:

  • High blood glucose impairs memory
  • Blood glucose normalization can reduce or eliminate beta cell burn out in early or mild diabetes
  • Large doses of insulin are not absorbed in a predictable fashion
  • Carbohydrates, not fat, is the main cause of obesity and dyslipidemia in the general population
  • Symlin could be used to curb appetite
  • Sulphonylureas cause beta cell burnout and increase risk of heart attack

Dr. Bernstein told us all of this years ago.   Trusting your health to the local news or, even many medical professionals, may cost you suffering. Understanding diabetes is crucial for proper treatment.

The Society believes that the therapeutic potential of low-carbohydrate diets for the treatment of obesity, diabetes and cardiovascular disease is under-investigated and under-utilized. Current recommendations have given way to large increases in disease. Despite scientific research telling us what constitutes a healthy diet, we are told by governing organizations to eat foods that have been proven to contribute to decline in public health.  It is for this reason I urge you to take action. You can do this in a number of ways:

Read  Dr. Bernstein's Diabetes Solution,  recommend it to everyone you know suffering with diabetes and to your medical professionals.

Participate in Dr. Bernstein's teleconference on August 27th (details below).
